{"id":8383,"date":"2021-04-28T17:33:28","date_gmt":"2021-04-28T12:03:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/solitaire\/?p=8383"},"modified":"2021-04-28T17:33:30","modified_gmt":"2021-04-28T12:03:30","slug":"gjepc-webinar-clarifies-e-sanchit-registration-process","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/solitaire\/gjepc-webinar-clarifies-e-sanchit-registration-process\/","title":{"rendered":"GJEPC Webinar Clarifies E\u2013sanchit Registration Process"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>GJEPC organised a webinar on 27th April to explain the procedure of registration on the E-Sanchit single-window Customs clearance portal, which has been made mandatory for all importers\/exporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attended by more than 150 participants from India and overseas, the webinar was moderated by Manish Jiwani, Convener, Micro, Small &amp; Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), GJEPC, and featured guest speaker Mihir Turakhia, Partner, Novel Exim, who informed participants about the need to follow the regulatory compliances, and explained the process of electronically uploading the documents to obtain clearances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees were given a live demo on creating an Indian Customs Electronic Gateway (ICEGATE) ID, new user registration process, steps for logging in to ICEGATE, documents required and procedures for import\/export consignment, and E-Sanchit mechanism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The participants were also briefed on the various Customs initiatives mentioned below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>National Trade Facilitation Action Plan<\/li><li>Single Window Interface for Facilitating Trade (SWIFT)<\/li><li>Authorised Economic Operator (AEO)<\/li><li>E-Sanchit<\/li><li>Direct Port Delivery (DPD)<\/li><li>RFID (E-Seals)<\/li><li>Direct Port Entry (DPE)<\/li><li>Upgradation of IceGate<\/li><li>Time Release Studies (TRS)<\/li><li>Advanced filing by Importers<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Turakhia explained about the API facility available for E-sanchit, software with link\/names used for digital signatures, IRN &amp; DRN number, Names &amp; Numbers of documents shared on the website, one-time registration process, etc.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GJEPC organised a webinar on 27th April to explain the procedure of registration on the E-Sanchit single-window Customs clearance portal, which has been made mandatory for all importers\/exporters.
