Sub: Circular for Booth Allotment for Jewellery Section of IIJS Premiere 2022, 4th - 8th August 2022, Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai
Dear Applicants,
Greetings from GJEPC!!!
We are glad to inform you that we have received an overwhelming response for participation at IIJS Premiere 2022 scheduled from 4th – 8th August 2022 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai wherein we have received applications for more than 4000+ booths from 1700+ applicants from gems and jewellery, machinery, and allied industry. We would like to thank you for continuing your support in the brand "IIJS"
Based on such applications received and the brand-new floor plan that has been designed by us at NESCO, we are now ready for allotment of stalls to the applicant members who have applied for stalls in jewellery. We are happy to inform you that IIJS 2022 will be the largest IIJS ever with 2711+ booths in the jewellery section and approximately 200+ booths in the machinery section spaced on 66834 sq. metre of area and 6 Halls at the NESCO premises.
New Procedure for booth allotment:
As a first this year we have planned to complete the entire allotment of 2711 booths in jewellery section in a single day only. We request all the members to be present in Mumbai for ease of allotment as per the details mentioned in allotment schedule. Further, we will setup stall mock-up at the allotment venue where the members can get to see how the new booth design and options will look like. We sincerely request our members for their wholehearted support and cooperation to make it successful. "The centralised lottery for booth allotment for all applicants (pan India) will be held on 27th June 2022", at Hotel Grand Hyatt (Ballroom) off Western Express Highway, Santacruz (E) Mumbai - 400 055. However, for any personal reason, if any members is unable to be present at the stall allotment venue in Mumbai for stall allotment, then you can contact your respective regional office of the council. Please refer the stall allotment schedule for your Room number at the stall allotment venue in Mumbai.
We would also like to inform you that, to properly align the stall space as per space applications received and to accommodate more members this year, the entire floorplan is redesigned.

It may be noted that applicants having any past payment outstanding / dues with GJEPC on the date of allotment will automatically be disqualified from the allotment process without any further notice.
The allotment of the applicants will be based on their GJEPC Membership status as on 16th May 2022 and as per valid online application with subsequent advance payments submitted to the Council.
Allotment of Preference to Applicants in each category will be as per below:
GENERAL PREFERENCES FOR EVERY CATEGORY
- Ordinary Members will have 1st preference in the allotment of booths.
- Members having manufacturing units registered under Udyog Aadhar Number (UAN) / SSI with the Council will get 2nd preference in booth allotment.
- Associate Member will get the 3rd preference in each respective category of allotment/s.
It may be further noted that participants who had been allotted stalls at the IIJS Premiere 2020 & had participated at IIJS Premiere 2021 in BIEC Bangalore will be considered as previous year’s participant for IIJS Premiere 2022 and will be allotted booths based on their stall allotment (stall size) as was done for IIJS Premiere 2020. Booth allotment will be undertaken section-wise & from higher to lower space as per availability and through lottery basis. No further changes/modifications in space will be accepted after submission of the online space application form and before booth allotment.

The chronological order for allotment for Jewellery, Loose Stones, Labs. & Education will be as follows:

First Preference: Companies participated at IIJS Premiere 2021 and opting for Less area as compared to IIJS Premiere 2020
Allotment to Companies who have opted for less area as compared to their area allotted in IIJS Premiere 2020 will get first preference (based on the membership type as mentioned above).

Companies that are applying for more areas as per IIJS Premiere 2020 will get a third preference (based on the membership type as mentioned above). The allotment for more area will be considered as per below:

Fourth Preference: IIJS Premiere 2021 (Bangalore Show) new participants and will be considered for 1 stall (9 Sqmtr) only (based on the membership type as mentioned above)
- Sixth Preference: Waitlist participants, if any
Members are informed that application for more areas does not guarantee confirmed allotment. The no of booths that will be allotted to applicants will be based as per application submitted & as per the availability.
Exhibitors are requested to note the below:
To avoid delay in the allotment of booths, Council requests you to follow the set timelines to help us complete the allotment. We look forward for your kind support and cooperation in our new endeavour of allotment procedure.
- Only the decision maker, who can select the booth will be permitted for allotment.
- Internal discussions and Calls during selection of booth should be restricted.
- We will provide only 2 mins for booth selection. In case, the booth is not selected within the stipulated time, the booth will be auto allotted by the GJEPC secretariat
- All exhibitors are requested to follow the mentioned timeline.
All guests entering the allotment venue should be at least double vaccinated.
Please note that in case applicant’s company name is not mentioned in allotment schedule even after submission of Online Space application form, then they are requested to contact the GJEPC Office immediately as per details below before the allotment. In case the applicants fail to bring to the notice of the Council, no further requests/queries will be entertained in this regard.
P.N: In case of absenteeism or the participant arrives late at the time of his allotment time and in case his company name is drawn during the lottery then the participant’s booth will be randomly allotted directly by GJEPC without any preference. No change or further request in this regard will be entertained.
