Dear Members,

Greetings from GJEPC!!!

We hope you & your family are safe & healthy.

After the stupendous success of our recently concluded 37th edition of IIJS Premiere 2021 scheduled from 15th – 19th September 2021 at BIEC, Bangalore with over 2588 stalls and 20000+ trade visitors. We are glad to announce the 14th edition of IIJS Signature 2022. The show is scheduled from6th – 9th January 2022 (4 days) at JIO World Convention Centre, BKC, Mumbai

We are happy to inform and introduce you that IIJS Signature 2022 will be held at Mumbai at a newly created world class convention centre, which has materialised due to some special efforts from the Council.

As our regular venue for IIJS in Mumbai, NESCO is still being used as Covid facility & vaccination centre. We had surveyed multiple venues across India to organize IIJS Signature 2022. Based on the overall infrastructure, feasibility. we have finalized JIO World Convention Centre, situated in the heart of the Mumbai city in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC),opposite Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) Mumbai to be the venue for IIJS Signature 2022.

Salient Features of IIJS Signature 2022 at JIO World Convention Centre:

• World class air-conditioned halls with state-of-the-art facilities
• 2 convention halls spanning 15,000 sq. mtr & 10000 mtr each
• In house F&B Services
• Access to halls through Elevators, Escalators & staircases
• Multi-level Basement parking for approx. 5000+ cars

WHATS NEW AT IIJS SIGNATURE 2022:

• New Product Sections:

  • o Gold & Gold CZ Studded Jewellery (earlier Plain Gold Jewellery section)
  • o Diamond, Gemstone & Other Studded Jewellery (earlier Studded Section)
  • o Silver Jewellery, Artefacts & Gifting Items: This year, we are glad to introduce“SILVER JEWELLERY, ARTEFACTS & GIFTING ITEMS SECTION”for all such companies that deal in silver jewellery, silver gift articles & artefacts. Members dealing in silver jewellery/artefacts are requested to apply under Silver Jewellery, Artefacts & Gifting Items Section
  • Loose Stones
  • Laboratories & Education
• Due to limited space in the new venue as compared to previous year, Signature Club section will not be part of this edition of IIJS Signature 2022. It will be distributed across the exhibition area as per their product category. Exhibitors who had participated in the Signature Club Section at IIJS Signature 2020 can apply in other sections according to their product category. Allotment to all exhibitors who had participated in Signature Club section at IIJS Signature 2020 will be given preference over exhibitors in non-Signature Club section.
• Increase in Participation Cost: Council has marginally increased the rates of participation due to new services added and enhanced venue cost. It may be noted that the rates remained constant for last 3 years since 2019. However, the Council is still in process of considering revisions, if any, in the participation cost which will be informed, and appropriate actions will be executed accordingly.

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS

• No counter sale will be permitted during the Exhibition:As per existing rule, if any Exhibitor is found selling any goods, the Council shall take such action as it deems fit including debarring the Exhibitor from participating in the Exhibition and any future exhibitions which may be organized by the Council.

• In case of any amount outstanding on any account with the Council, Exhibitors will be disqualified from application & allotment process. Also, allotment will not guarantee stall possession in case of any outstanding towards Council on the day of possession of stall.

• In case of any such instance where it comes to the attention of the Council that an exhibitor has procured an pass/badge under the Visitor category for its own representative by utilizing the name of a non-participating company and such person holding a visitor category pass/badge is found manning the exhibitor’s booth during any time of the exhibition dates, then suitable action shall be taken by the Council against the exhibitor as well as the holder of the visitor badge including but not limited to cancellation of booth for that exhibition & debarment from participation in any future shows which may be organized by GJEPC for both the companies involved thereof.

• In case it is discovered that a visitor enters the exhibition holding an exhibitor badge and conducts any commercial activity as an Exhibitor, then suitable action shall be taken by the Council as it deems fit against the said person as well as the company who has issued the Exhibitor badge.

• SUBLETTING:
  The Exhibitors shall not transfer, dispose of part with or otherwise sublet the whole or part of its Booth, whether for financial consideration or otherwise. The exhibitor must, if he is an agent, distributor or licensee, state at the time of submitting the Application the names or principals to be represented. This does not prohibit an Exhibitor displaying the products of a principal for whom it is acting as an agent, distributor, or sole licensee with the prior written permission from the Council. Further, if any Exhibitor or its representatives allows any other exhibitors or its representative in its booth without proper identification and badges allocated to that particular booth by the Council, then such activity would be considered as sub-letting by the exhibitor and appropriate disciplinary action may be taken against such Exhibitor and its representatives by the Council.

• EQUITABLE OPPORTUNITY CLAUSEDuring the term of this arrangement and for a period of 1 week before the start of the show and 1 week after the completion of the show, you shall not directly or indirectly apply or participate or exhibit in any show or exhibition or fair within Mumbai or Greater Mumbai which is similar to exhibitions or shows or fairs related to gem & jewellery organised by such Company which is engaged in the activities which are competitive with the activities of GJEPC or of any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. In case any exhibitor is found violating this clause, then disciplinary action will be initiated against such exhibitor, which will include immediate closure of the booth of the exhibitor and/or the said exhibitor will lose the chance to exhibit or participate at all future events of the Council and/or blacklisted/debarred from all the activities of Council.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE:

• The online space application opens on 29th October 2021. All the interested members are required to submit their Online application for participation on or before Thursday, 18th November 2021 along with the requisite payment of 100% of participation cost.

• As is the practice at IIJS Signature, all the stalls at IIJS Signature 2022 will be built-in stalls in Octonorm system. No RAW space option will be available.

• New companies interested to participate can apply for any no of booths at the show, the allotment of which will be based on availability

• Mandatory Safe for all exhibitors: Due to limited space all the exhibitors are requested to take a note that no strong room facility will be available, and all the exhibitors have to compulsory apply for safe. Details will be shared in online exhibitor manual.

• Allotment will be done through lottery system for IIJS Signature 2022, in the order of higher number to lower number of booths and as per their membership type (Ordinary/ MSME/Associate).

  1. Reduced no of exhibitor badge: To maintain social distancing & as per SOP received from ministry the number of exhibitor badges has been reduced. Only 3 badges per booth will be allocated.

  2. ONLY vaccinated people will be allowed at the IIJS Signature 2022. At the time of entry at the venue, each person will be required to show their Vaccination Certificate issued by the authorities. Exhibitors/Visitors having 1 dose of vaccination will be required to submit/display RT PCR report.

  However, with respect to the above, in case the SOP’s of the Government change/get relaxed/withdrawn at any point of time before the exhibition then the Council reserves the right of changing the quota of allocation of such badges as per the decision made by the competent authorities.

• Adherence to the guidelines and rules pertaining to COVID-19 as issued and mandated by the Central and State Govt. is a must.

The space application form will be accepted only through our online process on https://gjepc.org/iijs-signature(under Exhibitor Registration) by using existing username and password (same as being used for membership registration/renewal). Please take note that there will be NO physical space application forms for registering such space requirement.

In our endeavour to provide instant and better facility to members, we are also providing applicants with the easy option of making payment through RTGS in online space application system. Applicants are requested to submit their online application with option of payment through RTGS only.

The payment towards the participation cost should be paid only through online mode either by NEFT or RTGS in the following Bank account only.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

1. 100% of the total participation cost along with space application on or before 18th November 2021
   The participation cost is to be received by the Council on or before 18th Nov 2021. The applications for which the payment is received after 18th Nov 2021 will not be considered for allotment.

All the applicants will be required to update the UTR number on the IIJS Signature website after making their payment. Application without payment details (submission of UTR details) will be rejected.

Members are requested to carefully study the floor plan, read the rules & regulations mentioned in the online space application form including important guidelines, the allotment procedure and cancellation policy (relaxations will not be permitted under any circumstances). Please note that members who are unable to renew the current year membership (applicable for Indian applicants) or having any past outstanding payment dues with GJEPC will automatically disqualify in the application process.

Please be informed that if we DO NOT receive your online space application form and advance 100% payment on or before 18th November 2021, then you will automatically lose your chance for a preferential allotment of space at IIJS SIGNATURE 2022, even though you may have exhibited at IIJS SIGNATURE 2020. Kindly take note that in case of non-submission or incomplete submission or without requisite payment, your application will be automatically rejected without any notice and such members will not be eligible for further consideration in our preferential allotment of space (even though you might wish to retain same space as was in IIJS Signature 2020).
