Sub: Circular for Booth Allotment for Jewellery Section of IIJS Premiere 2023, 3rd-7th August 2023 (Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai) & 4th - 8th August 2023 (Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai)

Greetings from GJEPC!

We are delighted to inform you that we have received an overwhelming response for participation at IIJS Premiere 2023 scheduled from 3rd-7th August 2023 at Jio World Convention Centre, BKC-Mumbai & 4th – 8th August 2023 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon-Mumbai wherein we have received applications for more than 4300+ booths from 2200+ applicants from gems and jewellery, machinery, and allied industry. We would like to thank our members for your trust in brand "IIJS" and continued support to GJEPC.

With two venues, nine halls, and estimated over 1850 exhibitors, and 3250 stalls, the IIJS Premiere 2023 is poised to become the second-largest jewellery exhibition in the world. A brand new convention centre (JWCC) with world class infrastructure and amenities, and the best of international, loose diamond & lab grown diamond companies to complement, the show is poised to be Internationally attractive to buyers, bigger, better, and with more exciting business options than ever before.

The product category at each venue for Booth allotment is mentioned below for your quick reference.

Based on the directives received from Government, to promote exports and looking at the share of Loose diamonds in Indian exports basket and export potential of Lab grown diamonds, the allotment will be done as per below. Further silver, looking at the export growth achieved, has been allotted a dedicated section to promote and facilitate exports. Lastly new ordinary member applicants being exporters and as per constitution of GJEPC, have been given special preference for allotment over associate category of applicant members.

1. Loose diamonds - All forms of applicants (old & new) in the said category will be allotted booths at JWCC as per their applications received.
2. Lab grown diamonds (Loose & Jewellery) – All forms of applicants (old & new) in the said category will be allotted booths at JWCC as per their applications received.
3. Silver section - All old silver applicants will be allotted booths at BEC and new applicants in the said category will be allotted 9 Sqmtr booths at BEC.
4. International (Loose & Jewellery) - All the applicants in the said category will be allotted booths as per their applications received in both BEC and JWCC as per the category they belong to.
5. For other sections, the allotment for more area will be considered as per below for ordinary members.

Please find below guidelines for booth allotment based on the applications received for stalls in jewellery section. Allotment for machinery & allied section will be updated at later date.

Allotment of Preference to Applicants in each category will be as per below:

GENERAL PREFERENCES FOR EVERY CATEGORY

1. Ordinary Members will have 1st preference in the allotment of booths.
2. Members having manufacturing units registered under Udyog Aadhar Number (UAN) / SSI with the Council will get 2nd preference in booth allotment.
3. Associate Member will get the 3rd preference in each respective category of allotment/s.

It may be further noted that Booth Allotment will be undertaken section-wise & from higher to lower space as per availability and through lottery basis. No further changes/modifications in space will be accepted after submission of the online space application form and before booth allotment. The allotment of the booth in below chronological order will be based on availability in respective venues (BEC & JWCC)

chronological order for allotment for Jewellery, Loose Stones, Labs. & Education will be as follows:

1. First Preference: Companies who have retained same area and same location are auto allotted booths.
2. Second Preference: Companies who are dislocated (IIJS Premiere 2022 Participants of hall no.6 and Participants of loose diamond) will get the second Preference in the booth allotment.
3. Third Preference : Companies who have applied for less area than previous year will get the third preference in the booth allotment. (looking at the situations of applications the preference of less area has been revised from the space application circular dated 25th March 2023, sent earlier)
4. Fourth Preference: Companies who have applied for same area and different location as previous year will get the fourth preference in the booth allotment.
5. Fifth Preference : Companies who have applied for more area will be allotted as per below.
1. Ordinary Members who have participated at IIJS Premiere 2022 and applied for more area will be considered for expansion till next level as per table above.
2. Old MSME and associate participants who have participated since past 2 years at IIJS Premiere with 9 sqmtr booth : All companies who have participated with 9 Sqmtr booth at IIJS Premiere 2021 & IIJS Premiere 2022 and who have applied for more area at IIJS Premiere 2023 will be considered for next level expansion.
3. No expansion to other types of MSME & Associate applicant members : Due to limited space available in both the venues, IIJS Premiere 2022 - MSME & Associate exhibitors will have to continue with the same area (sqm) as IIJS Premiere 2022 (refer Annexure 1 for company names). Applicants who have applied for "more area" are requested to select from the below two options regarding their stall location. In absence of your response/submission to below options, your application will be considered for option 1 ONLY (Same Area Same Location)
• Option 1 : Same Area Same Location
• Option 2: Same Area Different Location (based on lottery and availability)

6. Sixth Preference : New applicants will be given sixth preference in the booth allotment and will be considered for allotment of 1 stall (9sqm) only through lottery (till stalls are available) as per general preference for each category as mentioned above (Ordinary,MSME & Associate)

Members are informed that application for more area does not guarantee confirmed allotment. The number of booths that will be allotted to applicants will be based as per application submitted & as per the availability through lottery wherever applicable.

Couture Section at IIJS Premiere 2023 : Due to unforeseen circumstances the Couture section, notified, has been postponed for this edition. Applicants who have applied in Couture section will be placed in the section as submitted in their space application and the allotment for the stall will be done as per above allotment guidelines.

Note: The allotment schedule with company name and time slot, date and floorplan will be shared soon. We request all the members to be present in Mumbai for ease of allotment. However, if any member is unable to be present at the stall allotment venue in Mumbai, then you can contact your respective regional office of the Council.
