Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus

Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), formerly known as Victoria Terminus (VT), was declared 'World Heritage Site' by UNESCO in 2004. Built in 1888, the station is a grand reminder of the British Raj in India and still one of the most historical landmarks within the Central Business District of Mumbai. About 3 million commuters push past its massive portals daily.

The Gateway of India is an emblematic landmark not only in Mumbai but in the entire country. Located on the southern part of the city, the gateway overlooks the splendid Arabian Sea. This magnificent edifice was constructed to memorialize King George V and Queen Mary's visit to India in 1911. It was designed by George Wittet and is made in Indo-Islamic style with honey-colored basalt.

Bandra Worli Sea Link

Bandra Worli Sea Link is one of the few bridges that is cable-stayed with pre-stressed concrete-steel viaducts to hold it in place. Spanning across the arc of Mumbai's coastline, this sea link is a civil engineering wonder that reflects the modern infrastructure of the city of Mumbai. The bridge is designed to cater around 37,500 vehicles per day while reducing the time travel between Bandra and Worli by a big margin.

This C-shaped road is one of Mumbai's most popular promenades and sunset-watching spots. Marine Drive is also referred to as 'Queen's necklace', because the street lights make the majestic semicircular curve road look like a string of pearls when viewed at night.

Haji Ali Dargah

The Haji Ali Dargah is a historical landmark in Mumbai, and is also one of the most prestigious Islamic symbols situated in South Mumbai. This whitewashed mosque contains the tomb of the Muslim saint Haji Ali. Built on a small island, the mosque is situated about 500 yards from the shoreline, in the middle of Worli Bay. It is only accessible via a narrow road that disappears underwater at high tide.

Also known as the Prince of Wales Museum, this institution is set in an ornamental garden and boasts a galleried central hall topped by a huge dome. The gallery's collection includes impressive sculptures, terracotta figurines, miniature paintings, porcelain and weaponry. Visiting Hours: Monday to Sunday - 10.15 am to 6.00 pm (Ticket counter will be closed at 5.45 pm).
