The Mid East Watch & Jewellery Show, now in its 23rd year, has announced that the 43rd edition of the show will open at the Expo Centre, Sharjah on October 3 with nearly 400 exhibitors. The show, which will run till October 7, is supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and is expected to attract nearly 60,000 visitors, including international trade buyers.

The show will have a number of country pavilions, with the largest contingent of 72 countries coming from India, followed by Hong Kong with 50, and Italy and Lebanon with 26 each. Other countries with a significant presence include Turkey , Singapore, and Thailand while companies and brands from the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain, and Taiwan, in addition to tens of UAE companies, are also participating.

H. E. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, Chief Executive Officer of Expo Centre Sharjah, told the media that there would be a wide variety of jewellery on display including traditional and modern designs in gold, diamonds, and precious gems.
