The 8th edition of the Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair, which will be held from 29 to 31 January 2017 will have a new name, a new look and a new business model, the organisers said in a statement yesterday.

The fair has been organised every year since 2010 by The Antwerp Diamond Bourse, The Antwerp Diamond Club, The Antwerp Diamond Kring and AWDC.

Now repositioned as BrilliAnt®, the full-fledged diamond fair will have a new look with booths allowing exhibitors to express fully their identity; a virtual fair open 12 months a year enabling exhibitors to promote their brand through e-showcases online; and will also introduce a new business model that promises better performance and a wider international reach, the organisers said.

The fair will continue to be situated at the heart of the diamond district, within the bourses as it has done over the last seven years as this will offer the confidential and plush atmosphere of the historic trading halls as well as the proximity of all services  - gem grading labs, specialized shippers and insurers.

Registration for visitors is scheduled to begin on September 1, 2016.
