PJSC ALROSA announced that its rough diamond sales for October 2016 amounted to US$ 430.8 million; while polished diamond sales for the same period stood at US$ 8.2 million. The Group’s total sales for October 2016 thus equalled US$ 439 million.

Though October sales were slightly lower than those reached last month, ALROSA had cause to be pleased about the figures achieved.

“Demand remained strong in October even on the threshold of the holiday season during the celebration of Diwali in India-–the largest cutting and polishing centre,” commented Yury Okoemov, ALROSA Vice President.
