ALROSA said  that it will be holding  an “international auction”  for the sale of special size rough diamonds of  over 10.8  carats from October 16 to 27, 2017 at  the Eurasian Diamond Centre in Vladivostok.

A total of   72 gem-quality lots with the combined  weight of 1,170 carats are scheduled to be put up for sale at the auction; with the largest stone weighing  47.55 carats.

 All the   stones included in the auction were mined by ALROSA’s  subsidiaries  JSC Almazy Anabara and PJSC ALROSA-Nyurba.

“A total of 67 companies from Belgium, India, Israel, China and the USA applied for the auction,” the Company revealed. 

Th auction is being organised by The United Selling Organization (USO) ALROSA and the ALROSA branch in Vladivostok.  The results of the auction will be announced  on October 30, ALROSA said.
