AWDC-IDI Organised Online Diamond Trade Show Opens Today with 70 Exhibitors, 500 Trade Visitors

The online diamond trade show co-organised by The Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) and Israeli Diamond Institute (IDI) opens today with 70 exhibitors and over 500 pre-registered trade visitors, according to an announcement on The Diamond Loupe, the online news site associated with AWDC.

The show is being hosted on the customized Virtual Diamond Boutique trade platform. The report states that 43 of the exhibitors are Antwerp-based and the visitors are all professionally associated with the diamond and jewellery industry.

Quoting the AWDC, the site says, "Because of COVID-19, all trade fairs and buying opportunities this year have already been cancelled. This is why AWDC and IDI decided to join forces and organize a unique event that enables you to buy and sell diamonds from the comfort of your own office."

The goods that are being exhibited are exclusively from recognized Antwerp and Israel traders, the report adds. It is not possible for traders from other countries to register as an exhibitor, but they are welcome to log in as a buyer. Visiting is free of charge for diamond and jewellery professionals all over the world.
