The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has made a generous donation to support the work of The Gem & Jewellery National Relief Foundation (GJNRF), an industry backed body in India that provides support to various philanthropic causes, particularly to the victims of natural calamities, families of personnel of the armed forces and central para military forces who have laid down their lives in the service of the nation and others.

A cheque for Rs 1.77 crore was handed over by Nirupa Bhatt, MD GIA-India & Middle East, to Ashok Gajera, MD GJNRF and Sanjay Kothari, Chairman GJNRF yesterday to support the activities taken up by GJNRF.
