GJEPC and Local Trade Bodies Host Awareness Seminar for MSMEs in Ratnagiri

The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) in its endeavor to promote the MSME sector of the Indian gem & jewellery industry has been regularly organizing MSME seminars, workshops and camps across the country. Most recently, one such MSME Seminar was conducted on Friday June 7, 2019 at Ratnagiri.

It was jointly organized by Mumbai Suvarnakar Sangh and Maharashtra Pradesh Suvarnakar Sanstha, who together hosted the presentation by GJEPC.

A presentation on the various schemes launched by GJEPC was made by Mithilesh Pandey, Director, Head:  Membership and MSME benefits. He covered Udyog Aadhar registration, the upcoming Jewellery Park, Parichay card and Health Insurance (Swasthya Ratna and Swasthya Kosh). Participants were informed about the various MSME & NSIC schemes available, as well as specific programmes such as cluster development, common facility centres (CFCs), lean manufacturing competitiveness scheme, etc. Other GJEPC initiatives like mobile apps, IIJS exhibition, call centre and membership benefits were also introduced to those present.

Nearly 75 jewellers attended the seminar.
