A delegation of members of the gemand jewellery industry led by Shri Dinesh Navadiya, Regional Chairman-Gujarat, GJEPC met Shri Rohit Patel, Hon’ble Industries Minister, Govt. of Gujarat on Saturday, April 1.

The delegation apprised the minister of some of the issues being faced by the local industry and sought the support of the state govenrment to resolve them at the earliest.

The key points of discussion related to introducing sector-specific incentive schemes including bridge courses for skill upgradation of existing workforce and setting up of critical infrastructure for the G & J industry. 

The minister assured the delegation that the matter would be looked into.
