The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), Surat and the Diamond Producers Association, India hosted a Town Hall meet at Surat on October 11 to spread awareness about the initiatives being taken to promote natural diamonds to the consumer.

Ms. Richa Singh, Managing Director, India, Diamond Producers Association made a presentation on the various activities and campaign being undertaken by DPA and GJEPC in this regard and discussed the total budgets as well as future plans.

Regional Chairman Shri Dinesh Nevadiya requested all those present to share any information and provide feedback on the campaigns being undertaken by GJEPC and DPA for generic diamond promotion.

Over 50 diamantaires were present for the meeting.
