The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) hosted an export promotion workshop for new members on March 26, 2018. The workshop, organised by the Regional Office - Delhi, was held to apprise all the new members of the northern region about the council, its activities, export-import procedure, foreign trade policies in place for gems and jewellery sector and the benefits of becoming a member of the council. 

The workshop was attended by  40 new members and was addressed by Mr Ravi Kishore, General Manager - MMTC, Mr Prem Nath, North Head - The Bank of Nova Scotia and Mr Nirakar Chand - Diamond India Limited.

Mr K.K. Duggal, GJEPC Director - Northern Region gave a detailed presentation on GJEPC and Indian gems and jewellery sector and the other speakers introduced the members to gold polices and procedure for availability of duty free precious metals for exporters.
