The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council’s (GJEPC) Surat regional office organised a seminar, under the banner of its educational programme ‘The Colloquium’, in Bhavnagar to highlight the current schemes offered by the State Government for the MSME sector. The seminar was supported by the Bhavnagar Diamond Association. 

The main presentation was made by Shri Haresh Vikani, Manager, DIC, Bhavnagar who explained each of the available schemes in detail and gave concrete guidance on eligibility criteria and the approval process.

Shri Dinesh Navadiya, Regional Chairman, Gujarat, also spoke about the various activities and projects initiated by GJEPC at the state and the national level and highlighted the role it plays as an apex body of the export trade.

More than 180 members of the trade participated in the seminar.
