GJEPC’s India Diamond Week and BDB’s Bharat Diamond Week to Take Place in Mumbai in October

Mumbai will host two trade events for the diamond industry in mid-October, with the 3rd India Diamond Week, a Buyer-Seller meet organised by The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) being held from October 15-17, 2019 and the 3rd Bharat Diamond Week (BDW), a trade exhibition organised by the Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) running from October 14-16, 2019.

The India Diamond Week will host groups of specially invited and pre-registered buyers from key target markets.

BDB said in a statement that registration for the BDW opened at the end of last month, with scores of companies from India and across the world already registered. The BDB said it will also be hosting delegations of foreign buyers as well as buyers from Israel, Dubai, some European countries and India.

"I am delighted that the GJEPC event will be taking during the time of the Bharat Diamond Week," said Bharat Diamond Bourse Vice-President Mehul Shah, who heads the BDW. "We are delighted to welcome all visitors to the GJEPC event to take part in the Bharat Diamond Week where their entry will be smoothly organised."

BDB President Anoop Mehta is also upbeat about the two large events taking place in Mumbai. "The Bharat Diamond Bourse and the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council are the two largest and most important organisations representing our trade in India and promoting it abroad. We welcome all visitors and buyers to the Bharat Diamond Bourse."
