Nearly 80 buyers from 17 countries representing their respective gemstone and jewellery industries, are expected to attend the “India  Gemstone Week” being organised by The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) at Jaipur from April 15-17, 2018. The event will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister of State for Commerce & Industry Shri CR Chaudhary.

Visitors will include gemstone wholesalers, dealers and jewellery manufacturers from countries such as Algeria, Armenia, China, Egypt, Germany, Italy, Jordan, Kazakistan, Lebanon, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Taiwan, UAE, UK and Uzbekistan.

Nearly 50 gemstone manufacturing companies will be present as exhibitors, displaying the wide array of products that Jaipur is renowned for. The Council said that the event will further establish and strengthen new sourcing relationships as well as help promote the business globally.

The three day programme is a combination of one-on-one interactions between buyers and sellers as per a pre-fixed schedule over the first two days, followed by an open exhibition where the two sides can interact directly and as per their choices on the third and final day.
