Speaking on the occasion, Ghanshyam Dholakia, Founder and Managing Director, HK Exports Pvt Ltd. said, “Blood donation is one of the finest gestures one can make to save lives. Every second, there may be a patient waiting for a blood transfusion to survive and many patients requiring transfusion do not have timely access to safe blood. The aim behind this noble cause is to bridge the blood shortage gap and empower humanitarian responsibility of saving lives. While honouring all regular blood donors today, we also hope that young people may be encouraged to become regular blood donors and aid in saving lives.’’

All those who participated in the blood donation drive received a token of appreciation – an electric heating bag, as wellas certificates, books and their donor cards.

Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. also announced that in the context of the current Coronavirus epidemic, it had initiated a campaign to contribute 0.25% of the total amount received from clients who purchase diamonds, towards charity.
