The Hari Krishna Group organised a blood donation drive on 2nd July 2018 at its head office in The Capital, BKC, Mumbai to mark its 26th anniversary. Company staff as well as others were invited to participate, with emphasis being placed on creating awareness of the importance of blood donation in saving lives.

Prominent bankers, customers and well-wishers came forward to join Ghanshyam Dholakia, Founder & MD, for this initiative.

HK group holds blood donation drives thrice a year and over 8,851 units of blood have been collected till date from Mumbai and Surat office.

Ghanshyam Dholakia, said, “Blood donation is one of the finest gestures one can make to save lives. The main objective behind this noble cause is to bridge the blood shortage gap and empower humanitarian responsibility of saving lives. We have got a valuable response from our donors and I would like to express my sincere gratitude for such a generous act.’’

As a token of appreciation, each donor was given an umbrella, certificate along with a book and a donor card.
