Over 500 participants, including some of the seniormost members of the top management, participated in the 10K Marathon - Kisna Monsoon Run that was held on August 21, to raise funds for the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The race began at 6 am from The Capital in BKC where HK Group has its headquarters.

The event was conducted with the support of MSDAA (Mumbai Suburban District Athletic Association) and directed by well known coach Nitin D’Souza. Arrangements for water stations, refreshments and medical support were made all along the route of the run, which concluded with an awards ceremony held in a spirit of sportsmanship.

On the occasion, a sum of Rs 5 lakh was contributed to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Ghanshyam Dholakia, MD, Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. said, “This is the first time we have organised a 10K marathon and I’m overwhelmed with the response we have received. It has been an incredible event and a great run for us. Every participant displayed their sportsmanship and ran for a cause. Our aim is to increase the contribution we make to help the society as this is a wonderful platform for fundraising.”
