I. Hennig has launched a new rough diamond trading platform, ‘Virtual Broker’ (VB), which, it says, will provide a secure environment for rough diamond trading where sellers and buyers can negotiate directly between themselves on a wide range of goods.

Goods available for trading can be viewed at the Hennig Tenders offices in Antwerp, the Company said, but added that all transactions will take place online via the platform.

Hennig stated that any bids made on the platform are received immediately by the sellers who can then decide how to respond. Elaborating on the innovation in this new format, the Company said, “The VB sales events will operate with a new format where sellers and buyers can negotiate and close deals online at any given time without having to wait until the end of an event.”

Virtual Broker provides an increased level of transparency and control for all participants. I. Hennig will manage all sales transactions through its secure systems.

The VB platform also provides additional features such as the “Buy-It-Now” function and the opportunity for selling/purchasing with credit terms, as well as mobile device accessibility.

I. Hennig said it will provide full training to registered buyers on how to use the platform and its new and exclusive bidding tools during their viewing appointments or on request.
