As part of its ongoing participation of The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) in the Government of India’s Clean India mission, a team of volunteers from the Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery, Udupi, (IIGJ) participated in the Swachhata Pakhwada cleanliness campaign.

The volunteers joined hands in a drive to clean the Malpe beach in Udupi, picking up all types of waste material that had been washed up on the shore.
