India Pavilion at June Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair 2019 Features Strong Contingent From the Country

The June Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair 2019 (June 20-23, 2019), which opened today features an India Pavilion, organised by The Gem & jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) with the participation of 35 leading companies.

The India Pavilion comprises 32 diamond manufacturers (located in Hall 3B-E) three gemstone companies (located in Hall 5B-E and one jewellery manufacturer (located in Hall 1C).

Visitors to the trade show, being held at the Convention & Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, will thus have the opportunity to view the capabilities of the Indian gems and jewellery industry and its strength and skill in manufacturing world class products for the sector.

The total space taken by the 35 exhibitors of the India Pavilion covers 453 sq metres;  a space of 18 sq metres has also been assigned to the GJEPC as a promotional booth.

Considered to be an important mid-year jewellery sourcing event, the exhibition is open to trade buyers only, and has the participation of  a total of 1,900 exhibitors from 40 countries and regions spread over 70,000 square metres of exhibition space.

The fair organisers said the “B2B show is training its spotlight on the latest product releases and market updates impacting the trade”.    

“The June Fair occupies a unique position in the industry,” said  Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets. “It literally brings the jewellery world under one roof, and it is perfectly timed for wholesalers, retailers and distributors who are building up their seasonal essentials.”
