The organisers of the Istanbul Jewelry Show (IJS) 2020 have announced that the event which was scheduled to take place from March 19-22 at CNR Expo, Istanbul Fair Center has now been rescheduled to June in the “light of the recent global developments around the COVID-19 virus”.

The 50th Istanbul International Jewelry, Watch & Equipment Fair, organised by Informa Markets, will now be held from June 18-21, 2020 at CNR Expo, Istanbul Fair Center.

In a statement released today, the organisers stated that “the health and safety of everyone involved in the Istanbul Jewelry Show; our employees, partners, customers and exhibitors” was top priority.

The decision to change the schedule was taken “after careful consultation with industry stakeholders”, following an official decision of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade on 11 March 2020 regarding the postponement of international gatherings, they said.

The organisers informed that they were continuing to liaise directly with all relevant authorities while monitoring and complying with guidance from the World Health Organisation and the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health. Participants would be informed of any new developments, they added.
