Italian Exhibition Group to Host Machinery Expo and Trends Observatory at Hong Kong Show

The Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) will host twin events at this year's 35th edition of the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, which opened today and will run till March 5, 2018. This includes T.Gold International + Mets technology and machinery exposition and the TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting trends observatory.

IEG’s T-Gold, an international exposition of machinery and technology for the gold jewellery, gem-set jewellery and watch sectors, will present 55 Italian and international exhibitors, and takes place together with Mets, dedicated to innovation in technology and machinery for jewellery and watch-making, which is organised by HKJJA Exhibition Services Ltd.

Earlier this year, the T.Gold show at VICENZAORO January registered a more than 16% increase in the number of professional visitors attending, when compared to 2017, and a 20% rise in the number of exhibitors.

Alongside, IEG will also host the TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting Observatory which will feature the TrendBook 2019+, an authoritative guide to trends and related consumer behaviour in the jewellery and luxury sectors. The book interprets characterising phenomena of the first 20 years of the new Millennium, and in particular the birth and development of a new "Digital Culture," its rapid spread across contemporary social networks, and the integration of the so-called "Parallel Reality," which involves a dialogue between online and offline cultures.

In focus will be the "What's HOT in Jewellery" seminar, presented by Paola De Luca, TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting's Creative Director, which is scheduled for March 3. Paola will present new jewellery trends for 2018-2019, and will also discuss the influence of the latest technologies on jewellery production.
