Italian Jewellery Brand Roberto Coin Celebrates 20th Anniversary With Gala Event in Dubai

Luxury Italian jewellery brand, Roberto Coin, celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a gala celebration at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai last week, according to media reports. The Company, which traces its roots back to the founder’s first foray into jewellery manufacturing in Vicenza in 1977, has today grown into a reputed brand with over 1,000 points of sale around the world, having been converted into an eponymous brand in 1996.

The grand celebrations in Dubai showcased exclusive pieces of jewellery to represent 20 years of Italian magnificence in the presence of the man behind the brand, Roberto Coin. These included a fabulous show, were centred arouns three signature pieces of the renowned brands – the Cobra Necklace in black gold with black and brown diamonds, the stunning Cento diamonds Cascade Necklace featuring diamonds with 100 facets, and the beautiful Spider Animalier Bangle in yellow gold with brown diamonds, the reports state.

Some of the highlights of the brand’s journed include being selected in 2010, to speak at the UN pavilion in Shanghai about the importance of responsible luxury; being names the highest ranked brand in the fashion jewellery space in the “United Brands” list of the highest ranking jewellery brands worldwide, and being awarded the Best Italian Collection in the world title by the International Palladio Award for the Pois Moi collection in 2014.
