A delegation of the Jewellers Association Jaipur (JAS) had a meeting with the Hon’ble Union Minster for Finance, Government of India, Smt Nirmala Sitharaman and the Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Finance, Government of India, Shri Anurag Thakur yesterday.

The delegation urged them to roll back the 0.50% duty imposed on import of rough gemstones.

The Hon’ble MP from Jaipur in the Lok Sabha Shri Ramcharan Bohra and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Om Prakash Mathur also participated in the discussions.
