Lucapa Diamond Company Limited announced the completion of another sale of alluvial diamonds from the Lulo Diamond Project in Angola.

The Company raised a gross amount of US$ 2.0 million for a parcel of 1,782 carats of rough diamonds; achieving an average price per carat of US$ 1,150.

The Company added that diamonds in this latest sale excluded a number of large white specials and a coloured special which wereheld back for a sale to take place sometime later. 

The latest sale brings gross proceeds from Lulo diamond sales in H1 2018 to US$ 15.9 million with an average price per carat of US$ 1,642.
