Lucapa Diamond Company and its partners Empresa Nacional de Diamantes E.P. (Endiama) and Rosas & Petalas, have announced the recovery of yet another record breaking stone from the alluvial mining at their Lulo Diamond Project at Angola, this one a 38.6-carat pink diamond.

The Company said that this is the largest fancy coloured diamond recovered to date, surpassing the 28.5-carat light pink diamond which was sold recently. As earlier reported, the light pink was part of a parcel of 3,642 carats which sold for a combined amount of US$4.4 million.
