Lucapa Diamond Company Limited today announced the recovery of a 114 carat diamond from the Lulo Diamond Project in Angola.

The large diamond,  recovered from alluvial Mining Block 6, is the 11th over 100 carat diamond recovered to date; and the third so far in 2018.

Lucapa said this further underlined “the special large-stone nature of the Lulo diamond concession”.

The 114 carat diamond has been added to the already “significant inventory” of large diamonds that is currently held for a later sale by Lulo mining company Sociedade Mineira Do Lulo, in which Lucapa is a partner.
