MSME Team of GJEPC Conducts Udhyog Aadhar and Parichay Card Shibir in Mumbai

The MSME team of The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), in association with the Mumbai Suvarnakar Sangh conducted an Udhyog Aadhar and Parichay Card shibir at the Dariyasthan Street Hall in Mumbai this week.

Members of the Mumbai Suvarnakar Sangh and Bengali Swarnashilpi Sangh who attended were given an overview of the various government schemes for the MSME sector and the projects taken up by the Council. Association heads Adip Vernekar, Kalidas Sinha Roy, Anil Karekar, Girish Bhai Sagar and few other important dignitaries were present.

Mrunali Elle from GJEPC HO-MSME team spoke about the importance of Udyog Aadhar registration, documents required for the same and how it could be beneficial for MSME’s. She also gave details of other MSME schemes along with an introduction to the CFC- Common Facility Centre and Cluster Development programmes of Council. These were well received and the organisations present were requested to prepare a proposal for the same.

Earlier heads of the jewellery association present spoke about the need for the different organisation to come together and work unitedly for the upliftment of the g&j sector. They appreciated GJEPC’s initiatives such as Udhyog Aadhar and Parichay Card. Those present also requested the organisers to conduct more such informative seminars in the future.
