New Campaign To Promote Italian Jewellery In US Market

The Italian Trade Commission in Houston (ITA Houston) is launching a new campaign to support the Italian jewellery sector in the United States, presenting the Italian pavilion of around 100 jewellers at JCK Las Vegas and 36 Italian exhibitors at the Couture show.

The campaign is aimed at connecting Italian jewellery manufacturers and suppliers with US retailers and wholesalers, one of the world’s leading markets for Italian jewellery exports.

As part of the campaign, ITA Houston will also launch a new website to facilitate business connections and promote high-quality Italian craftsmanship in the US market. The state-backed agency will collaborate with leading media outlets and Instagrammers, including high-profile influencer Katerina Perez, to promote the ‘Made in Italy’ brand.

The Italian jewellery industry, which consists mainly of small and medium-sized companies, achieved sales of €10.8 billion in 2022, up 20.8% from the previous year, with exports exceeding €9.8 billion, above pre-Covid levels, according to ITA Trade Commissioner Fabrizio Giustarini.

The campaign’s objective is to educate and update buyers on the latest innovations, technology, design trends, and craftsmanship of Italian jewellery. The Italian Trade Commission’s multi-faceted campaign promises to create a media splash at the upcoming JCK Las Vegas and Couture shows, using all social media tools, including Instagram and Twitter.
