New Hostel Premises at IIGJ Jaipur Inaugurated by Hon’ble CM of Rajasthan, Shri Ashok Gehlot

The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Ashok Gehlot inaugurated a new Hostel at the Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery Jaipur (IIGJJ) on Saturday, November 2, 2019, in the presence of GJEPC Chairman Shri Pramod Kumar Agrawal and a large number of other dignitaries including senior government officials and members of the trade. The foundation stone for the Hostel was also laid by Shri Gehlot in 2012.

The hostel, which is located in Sitapura Phase 3, in close proximity to the IIGJJ, has an area of 3,500 sq ft. It will have 70 rooms and will accommodate nearly 250 students, thus making it easier for students from different parts of Rajasthan and from other states to enrol in the institute. Foreign students can also use the hostel during their training. In addition, the hostel will have a mess and gym facilities.

IIGJJ has trained nearly 10,000 students since its inception.

Commissioner of Customs;  Shri Rafeek Khan, MLA, Rajasthan; Shri Nirmal Kumar Bardiya, GJEPC Regional Chairman, Jaipur; Shri Sanjay Kala, President Jewellers Association, Jaipur; Shri Rajiv Jain, IIGJJ Chairman; Shri Sudhir Kasliwal, IIGJJ Secretary and others.
