The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) has announced that the next International Diamond Week in Israel (IDWI) will be held on the trading floor of the exchange from February 10 through to February 12, 2020.

“A boutique show exclusively for the diamond trade, IDWI offers a huge quantity and variety of goods with minimal participation cost,” the IDE said.

This year, the IDWI was held at the end of January 2019,  and was “the largest and most successful of the events to date”, IDE stated.

IDWI 2019 attracted over 350 foreign buyers from over 30 countries, one-third of whom were new to the IDE. Over 150 Israeli companies exhibited polished diamonds, with dozens of additional companies offering high-end diamond jewellery in a dedicated section. Traffic throughout the three day event was extremely lively, IDE asserted.

IDE President Yoram Dvash commented, "IDWI is one of the leading boutique shows in the diamond world and each year it has become bigger and better. We’re working to make the 2020 show the largest and most exciting one ever. This is the place you’ll want to be next February.”

IDWI Chairman Ezra Boaron said, “IDWI 2019 was a great success, but we are not resting on our laurels. We are planning on making IDWI 2020 even more thrilling. Mark your calendars: February 10 – 12, 2020 in Israel.”
