Rapaport Group’s RapNet Introduces Jewellery Trading on its Platform

RapNet, a member of the Rapaport Group of Companies, and one of the largest diamond trading networks across the globe, has now added jewellery trading to its array of diamond offerings.

“RapNet members can now upload jewellery images and data, perform detailed searches, and directly trade jewellery with each other without any fees or commissions,” RapNet announced. “There are no additional fees to use this service.”

The organisation expects the addition of jewellery on RapNet to provide a “significant added value” to RapNet members; and also to “significantly expand RapNet’s membership and reach” to the global jewellery trade.

RapNet currently lists over 1.5 million diamonds valued at more than US$ 7.4 billion, with members in 97 countries, the Company said.

“We are continuing to deliver on our promise to add value to our membership,” said Saville Stern, CEO of RapNet. “In recent years our jewellery retailer membership has grown tremendously, and many traditional diamond suppliers have begun offering jewellery lines. The RapNet network now provides one platform that meets all their jewellery and diamond trading needs. We are excited that jewellery trading will take its place on RapNet, and we look forward to providing more opportunities for our members to increase their profits.”
