The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) will host a panel discussion on Saturday, June 1, 2019 during the JCK Las Vegas Show where a group of experts will discuss sustainable development, social responsibility and trust from the perspective of the gem and jewellery industry.

The discussion titled “A Conversation About Instilling Trust Through Responsible Business Practices” will have RJC Chair David A. Bouffard and others exploring how businesses throughout the jewellery supply chain are tackling the challenges ahead, as well as discussing how responsible sourcing builds business innovation, brand equity and trust with stakeholders.

The RJC states that today consumers and investors are better informed than ever before- and they want businesses to take responsibility across the value chain. Hence, the business landscape is characterised by an unprecedented, accelerating and complex mix of risks and opportunities.
