Sarin Bachmann Appointed New Head of JCK Las Vegas Show; 2019 Dates to be Announced Shortly

Sarin Bachmann, who steered the JCK Luxury Show for the last few years has been given additional responsibilities, including running the JCK Las Vegas show, as part of the expanded role she will play as Event Vice President JCK & LUXURY. An announcement of the new appointment was made last week by Reed Jewelry Group and JCK Las Vegas.

For the last three years, Bachmann has been Industry Vice President for the LUXURY show, in addition to steering the event for an additional three years when the show was previously at The Venetian.

Bachmann takes over her new responsibility from Katie Dominesey, the former former Industry Vice President of the JCK Las Vegas Show who has transitioned to a new role that will focus on Mergers & Acquisitions across all industries at Reed Exhibitions, as well as remaining the Event Vice President for the JCK Tucson show.

Yancy Weinrich, Reed Jewelry Group Senior Vice President said, “Sarin has proven to be an exceptional, customer-focused leader and has greatly improved the LUXURY show for both exhibitors and retailers. She listens to her customers, acts on feedback, and continues to innovate and elevate the LUXURY experience. As we prepare to move the JCK Las Vegas show back to the Sands Expo and The Venetian in 2019, we feel confident that Sarin will bring similar strategies to JCK to create a productive, efficient and memorable event for everyone next year.”

In a separate release, JCK also said that this year’s JCK Las Vegas Show, the final exhibition at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino before the 2019 relocation back to the renovated Sands Expo and The Venetian, brought together over 30,000 visitors from 110 different nations

The dominant mood at the show “from both retailers and exhibitors alike… was optimism,” according to Yancy Weinrich.

In 2019, JCK Las Vegas will be unveiling their new logo to coordinate with an overall fresh and modern show look and feel at the new location. There, it will offer even more advancements, curating everything a retailer could need - all under one roof, including a Global Gemstone Pavilion, which includes 80% of the current gemstone exhibitors, plus a new International Gemstone Pavilion in partnership with the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) and the at-show delivery vendors from the JIS Exchange show who will have their own designated area.

According to Bachmann. “The major decisions and future enhancements to the show in 2019 are based on customer feedback gathered from post-event digital surveys, the JCK & LUXURY Advisory Boards, retail store visits by JCK staff, and more. The exciting changes and innovations coming in 2019 are all being shaped by customer input and insights.”

The dates for the 2019 show will be announced shortly.
