Surat-based diamond technologies company STPL was recently conferred the "Best Kaizen Award for the Industry" by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), thus cementing the Company’s reputation for Kaizen Excellence in Manufacturing.

The prestigious awards, now in their 11th edition, were presented to the winners at a Kaizen conference titled “CII National Competitiveness & Cluster Summit 2018”. The awards were presented by Shree Ram Mohan Mishra (IAS) Additional Secretary & Development Commissioner, MSM, at a grand ceremony organised at New Delhi, on November 21, 2018. The award was accepted by Kuntesh Radadiya and Trinayan Saikia on behalf of STPL.     

“This Kaizen Conference has been designed to spread the good work done by companies and to recognize the best of the competing Kaizens,” STPL explaied. “This competition is very severe and intense with more than 700 Kaizens participating in each edition. A total of 3 winners are selected from each category to carry the Best Kaizen award.”

The awards recognise effectiveness in the field of innovation and standards in Kaizen system, quality excellence, ingrained in the value system, the Company added.

“STPL has been successful in developing value based, quality processes for product development,” the Company stated. “Adhering to the international standards, the company has creatively integrated values in the processes in such a way that diamond industry is able to achieve global excellence using the products of STPL.”
