Thirty-Eight Top Indian G&J Exporters Participate in India Pavilion at JCK Las Vegas

Thirty-eight leading Indian gem and jewellery exporters are taking part at the JCK Las Vegas Show 2018, which opened yesterday in USA, under the India Pavilion organized by The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council(GJEPC). The show runs through to June 4, 2018.

GJEPC said that the India Pavilion, now in its 15th year at the show, is spread over 63 booths, strategically located at the Diamond Plaza and the Passport Location. On display is a dazzling array of diamonds, gems & jewellery developed especially for the US market this year.

Pramod Agrawal, Chairman, GJEPC said, “USA has been an important market for the Indian gem and jewellery industry. India’s exports to USA accounted for a staggering US$ 8,919.82 million during 2017. In fact, around 16% of the gem & jewellery requirement of USA is imported from India.”

Emphasising that JCK Las Vegas is a significant platform for India to further strengthen its network and improve its exports to the USA, as well as to better understand the needs of the US market, Agrawal said, “With top manufacturers participating at India Pavilion, I am sure buyers will get to see products of the highest quality including loose diamonds, loose coloured gemstones, plain gold jewellery as well as diamond and coloured stone studded jewellery.”
