Vicenzaoro Gears Up for The Jewellery Boutique Show to Be Held Jan 18-23, 2019

The next edition of the January Vincenzaoro show is scheduled to be held from January 18-23, 2019. The first gems and jewellery fair of the year, Vicenzaoro is generally looked forward to with great anticipation to unveil the trends within the industry and to also provide barometric readings on the atmosphere within the international industry.

Organisers of the fair, Italian Exhibition Group SpA (IEG), have not only put in efforts to make sure the jewellery industry which gathers at the show from across the world is facilitated to make the most of the show, but it has also lined up some interesting sidelights.

“The exhibitors who will be present at Vicenzaoro January 2019 will be divided in relation to the positioning and the target of the individual brands to facilitate the use of visitors: from the most prestigious boutiques, to the mall, from the big metropolitan stores to the retailers,” the organisers said in a pre-show press release.

IEG, giving an idea about the visitors’ profile said it was varied and included buyers of different types: over 60% from outside Italy, coming from 130 countries.

Elaborating on the exhibitors participating IEG added: “Among the exhibitors present in this edition, will be  Roberto Coin - who will bring the new versions of the collection "Princess Flower";  Damiani - with its precious extensions of the collections D.Side, Eden and the iconic Belle Epoque; and again Fope, Crivelli, Leo Pizzo, Tamara Comolli, Djula, all guests of the ICON district, dedicated to Global Brand, or to those companies that have been able to merge traditional craftsmanship into a contemporary style, becoming benchmarks in the sector.”

The organisation said that it was in the process of signing multi-year contracts of collaboration with most of them.

Apart from the big brands, also present will be a number of renowned designers like Alessio Boschi, Lydia Courteille, Mattia Cielo and Monica Rich Kosann, who have been selected for The Design Room. IEG calls it “a laboratory of experimentation and creativity” which, it says, has “the most exclusive and sought-after pieces of the entire exhibition…”

Apart from these, there will also be companies “more markedly oriented towards fashion and fine jewellery”, IEG said, such as Giovanni Raspini, Rue de Milles, Victoria Cruz, Bronzallure, Crieri. “All these brands, guests of the ‘Look’ district, express the art of designers in the exploration and processing of materials: from stones and coloured elements to precious metals to alternative materials.”

Exhibitors will be present in a range of sites from Expression to Evolution to Essence. “Here the companies that distinguish themselves for technical skills and reliability of the raw materials used such as SDE GROUP, Dalia Preziosi, Afic Diamonds, Arcadia Diamonds for diamonds are brought together; Petramundi, Claudia Hamann, Meneghetti, Quality Srl, Stone International for the European Color Stones sector; Takat, Sparkle Gems, Tank, Gem India Export, Swadi, Janson's, Australia Pearls always for the Colour Stones industry from the rest of the world,” IEG elaborated.

The underlying “leitmotif” of the Vicenzaoro winter event will be Sustainable Creativity. Starting from the conference of VISIO.NEXT, continued in the Digital Talks, Gem Talks and in the presentation of Trendvision, it will be the main theme for the six days of Vicenzaoro January 2019 fair.
