41st MidEast Watch & Jewellery Show Opens in Sharjah September 27

The 41st edition of the MidEast Watch & Jewellery Show will open at the Expo Centre Sharjah on September 27 with more than 500 exhibitors from 20 countries showcasing their products. The show runs till October 1, 2016 and is expected to attract over 60,000 visitors.

The show is organised twice a year by the Expo Centre with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industryunder the patronage of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

Saif Mohamed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Centre said that the show is a perfect platform for fans of watches and jewellery to look at a range of the latest creations and designs by the most skilled craftsmen and jewellery pioneers all gathered under one roof. The designs are inspired by the latest contemporary lines of traditions, cultures and arts, he added.

This year the show has a number of National Pavilions from different parts of the world including Hong Kong, Italy, Thailand, India etc and displays by many leading jewellers from the Middle East. Products include gold jewellery, diamonds, gemstones, pearl sets, and unique types and models of watches.

Highlights of the show include seminars and onsite grading and testing facilities conducted by GIA and IGI, as well as a daily raffle draw on the tickets with mega prizes to be won.
