Gem Diamonds Recovers 370-carat Whopper

UK-based diamond miner Gem Diamonds unearthed a high quality 370-carat Type II, white diamond, from the Letšeng mine in Lesotho. The discovery came just six days after the recovery of a 254-carat diamond from the same mine.

In 2020 the company recovered 16 diamonds larger than 100 carats compared with eleven in 2019. Letšeng is the highest dollar per carat kimberlite diamond mine in the world.
