GJEPC successfully organised the ‘Chaupal – Connect with GJEPC and Start Exporting’ initiative aimed at educating members about the export process and addressing key challenges faced by MSMEs in the gems and jewellery sector.

The session featured Mr. Mihir Ajit Shah, a renowned advisor, consultant, and international business trainer, who shared his expertise on the fundamentals of exporting. Mr. Shah provided detailed guidance on export documentation, compliance procedures, and various government policies and support schemes available for MSMEs venturing into international markets.

Mr. Mithilesh Pandey, Director - Membership, GJEPC, highlighted several Council initiatives such as the India Jewellery Exposition Centre (IJEX), the upcoming Saudi Jewellery Expo (SAJEX), the flagship IIJS shows, and e-commerce collaborations through platforms like eBay. He explained how these initiatives can help MSMEs expand their global footprint.

Participants also received updates on capacity building programmes, the one-time registration process, and AD Bank registration, particularly aimed at those who are yet to begin their export journey.

A key highlight of the session was the interactive Q&A segment, where attendees actively discussed their concerns and received expert guidance. The event also fostered networking among participants, encouraging future collaborations within the export community.
