The Delhi Regional Office of The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) yesterday organised an Interactive Session on E-Sanchit with Shri Babu Lal Meena, Dy. Commissioner, CBIC.

In his welcome address, Ashok Seth, Regional Chairman, GJEPC North, explained that the single window system is being created by the Customs for facilitating trade.

The Dy. Commissioner then briefed the audience on E-Sanchit and guided those present on its uses and benefits. He encouraged them to follow the process as mandated by the department and emphasised that it was necessary for exporters to register themselves on the portal in order to avoid any difficulties in trading going forward.

Shri Meena assured the trade that the department has a positive approach and will support all legitimate business.

Nearly 60 trade members or their representatives attended the session.
