Hari Krishna Exports Conducts Blood Donation Drive on 24th Anniversary

Hari Krishna Exports Pvt Ltd organised a blood donation drive in Mumbai and Surat to mark its 24th anniversary on July 2, 2016. While the Mumbai camp was held at The Capitol, BKC on July 1 and 2, the Surat drive was conducted on the factory premises on July 2. A free health check- up for all employees was also conducted during this period.

Among those who participated in the blood donation drive were HK Exports MD Ghanshyam Dholakia, as well as the Company’s bankers, customers, well-wishers and employees. A total of 1,114 units of blood were collected during the drive.

In addition, all employees and well-wwishers received a “HK Health Chart” with tips to stay healthy, including an entire day’s schedule.

Speaking on the occasion, Ghanshyam Dholakia said, “We may have external differences but the blood that runs through our veins is the same - that’s what connects us. Donating a single pint of blood can actually save many lives. On the occasion of HK’s 24th anniversary, we organised a blood donation drive wherein our employees and visitors volunteered in large numbers to take part in this charitable event. We will continue to do this as our aim is to help as many people as we can by giving blood.”

As a token of appreciation, the blood donors were presented with an Acupressure Mat and donor hand bands along with their donor cards.
