The Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong (JGA) has been rescheduled and now instead of being held from June 25-28 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), will be held from November 26-29, 2020 at the AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), the organisers have said.

These adjustments to business operations have become necessary as per the current climate, with travel restrictions impacting industry participation and COVID-19 concerns they added.

In a statement announcing the change, the organisers also said that contracts and payments made for JGA will carry over to the revised dates, and detailed arrangements will be discussed individually with each exhibitor.

The new dates give the jewellery community the opportunity to regather and maximise opportunities to fulfil pent-up demand, capture last-minute “cash-and-carry” peak season transactions and regroup for the coming year.

The organisers also said they will launch a virtual event complementing the offering of the physical shows and leveraging its powerful trading platform – JewelleryNet.
