Hong Kong Trade Shows Postponed To April

The Hong Kong International Jewellery Show (HKIJS) and the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show (HKDGPS) have been rescheduled from 3rd-7th March 2022 to 14th-18th April 2022 due to the Government’s tightening of covid precautionary measures.

Both shows will be held alongside the Spring Shopping Fest at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, according to a notice issued by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

HKTDC said the deferral was implemented to reduce the risk of the novel coronavirus spreading in the local community and to align with the government’s raised response level.

The safety measures include the temporary closure of the HKTDC SME Centre from 7th February 2022 until further notice.

HKTDC said it has made arrangements for its exhibitions and conferences to help Hong Kong-based companies continue doing business during the pandemic. New arrangements include rescheduling and adopting a new event format, it noted.
