The first edition of the India Diamond Week organised by Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) and the Guangzhou Diamond Exchange (GZDE) at the Panbao Jewelry Trading Centre, Guangzhou was inaugurated today by Consul General of India Shri. Y.K. Sailas Thangal and Chairman of GZDE Mr Zhu Yongsheng. The show will be held from Februrary 20-22, 2017.

The India Diamond Week is being held in conjunction with the 2017 Guangzhou International Buyer-Seller Meet (Spring), Diamonds & Color Gemstones with GJEPC, GZDE and the Guangzhou Gems & Jade Exchange.

This initiative will further advance interaction with leaders of the local diamond industry and boost cooperation between the diamond sectors of the two countries as per the MoU signed last year between GJEPC & Guangzhou Diamond Exchange.
