Japan Gets Sarine ProfileTM Service Centre

Sarine Technologies Ltd recently opened a new service centre for the issuing of Sarine Profile™ reports for polished diamonds in Tokyo in cooperation with a veteran local partner. The centre will service both retailers and the polished diamond trade in Japan.

Sarine’s local partner will provide the necessary physical infrastructure and manpower for the centre. The team has been trained in the generation of the Sarine Profile™ reports by Sarine personnel.

“The Sarine Profile™ reports to be generated at the new service centre will include all the various assessment, imaging, and documentation parameters comprised in these reports worldwide, including light performance grading, Hearts and Arrows analysis, Cut grading and documentation, Sarine Loupe™ imagery and other optional imaging, along with Sarine’s Diamond Journey™for the documentation of the polished diamond’s derivation from the original rough stone,” the Company said detailing the scope of the centre.

The decision to open the service centre was taken as Sarine observed growing demand for Sarin Profile™ reports amongst the Japanese retail trade of polished diamonds. The Company said it was “confident it will be able to offer excellent and timely services to the diamond industry in Japan”.

David Block, CEO of the Group commented, "Sarine first offered light performance reports in Japan in 2013 to its launch customer CIMA, a leading retailer in Japan for diamond bridal jewellery that operates two store brands (Exelco and Ginza Diamond Shiraishi). Since then, the demand for Sarine’s light performance grading reports has expanded significantly, and today additional leading retailers such as K-Uno, Sadamatsu (Festaria), Verite (Maharaja), Imayo and many others use these services. With the expanding demand for the complete Sarine Profile™ report and the Sarine Diamond Journey™ in Japan, we realised that we must be able to offer a timely service locally in Japan.”
